National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, Kiev

National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, Kiev (former Museum of the Great Patriotic War, Національний музей історії України у Другій світовій війні) is one of the largest museums in Ukraine, housing over 300 000 exhibits over 10 hectares on the hill, overlooking the Dnieper River, centered on the famous 62-meter tall Motherland statue. Collection includes five aircrafts and one helicopter, all presented below.

Entry fee: 20 UAH + photos 30 UAH (50 UAH ~ 2 EUR, after 17:00 all free of charge)
Opening days: Tuesday – Sunday (closed on Monday?)
Opening hours: 10:00 — 18:00
