Museum of Aeronautical Sciences, Narita, Japan

Museum of Aeronautical Sciences, Narita, Japan

Museum of Aeronautical Sciences is easy accesible by bus from Narita Airport Terminal 1 (easiest way is to ask at information desk for a leaflet with all information). Collection includes 12 aircrafts, 4 helicopters, front section of 747 and stored Cessna. All exhibits are outdoors and free to watch. Indoor exhibition and 747 visit are ticketed. Pesronally I was dissapointed about what's inside as there was no actual plane presented. One big advantage of buying a ticket is the tower over museum, as it is air conditioned and offers great view over the museum, over the approach for RWY34L (unfortunately up to 10-11AM) and the cargo ramp. Due to that I reccomend visiting it in the morning as soon as it opens.
